The loved ones of young people unaccounted for after a deadly blaze at a establishment in a Switzerland's ski resort are enduring an agonising period of uncertainty for official news and requesting clues about their loved ones publicly.

The fire ripped through the Le Constellation bar in the alpine resort, located in the mountains of the Valais region, in the middle of the night of January 1st. Circulated video depict the roof structure igniting as bottles with fireworks are held aloft.

The Italy's government has indicated that six of its nationals remain missing.

Among them is Emanuele Galeppini, a 16-year-old sportsman, who hailed from Genoa but now residing in the UAE.

The Italian Golf Federation has stated that he is dead, without directly referencing the tragedy, paying tribute to a "talented young man who embodied dedication and authentic values."

His father, is quoted as saying that his son was at the bar and was last in contact around the new year. An representative has stated that a formal confirmation of his death is still pending.

Other Missing Individuals

Giovanni Tamburi, 16, is likewise unaccounted for. His mother told reporters that he had been on vacation but had ventured out with friends and ended up at the venue.
